These special clamping mechanisms allow sales documents, brochures or contracts to be securely fastened in a folder without damaging the paper. At moog & langenscheidt, you can obtain durable File Swing Grips that impress with their high clamping force and ease of use.

Precisely fitting formats for A4 and A5 clip folders

To accommodate different folder formats, we manufacture our File Swing Grips in two standard versions:

  • Small version (65 mm): Specially optimised for A5 clip folders. Despite its compact dimensions, it provides a firm hold for small brochures or leaflets.
  • Large version (115 mm): The standard for A4 clip folders. This length ensures optimal pressure distribution along the edge of the paper and holds even several sheets securely in place.

Wide range of colours and custom colours

Design doesn’t stop at the folder. We offer our Clamp Profiles in various standard colours to visually enhance your product: for the long version, you can choose between black, white or transparent. The short version is available in black as standard. As a manufacturer, we also offer you the particular advantage of being able to produce special colours on request, precisely tailored to your corporate design.

How many sheets can a File Swing Grip hold securely?

The clamping capacity depends on the paper weight. As a rule, our Clamp Profiles hold between 1 and approx. 30 sheets of standard paper (80 g/m²) absolutely securely, without the documents slipping when turning the pages.

Can I also retrofit the Clamp Profiles into folders?

Yes, provided the folder is designed for a clamping mechanism, the profiles can be used. They are ideally designed for the initial assembly of clamping folders and clamping binders.

Is there a risk of pressure marks on the documents?

Our File Swing Grips are designed to distribute pressure evenly. When used correctly, your documents remain free of holes and unsightly damage, which is particularly important for original documents.
