How long does the adhesive take to dry?

The adhesive bonds immediately (contact bonding). However, it reaches its maximum final strength after approx. 12 to 24 hours. Therefore, do not subject the magnetic fastener to full load until after this curing time.

What do I need to bear in mind regarding the substrate?

The surface should be smooth, clean and free of grease. Adhesive strength may be reduced on heavily textured papers or open-pored materials such as untreated wood.

What is the difference between these and N45 or N52 magnets?

N35 is the standard grade. Higher numbers indicate greater magnetic force for the same size. However, N35 is perfectly adequate for most paper-based fasteners and offers particularly attractive pricing.
