Our Disc Magnets are made from a high-performance alloy of neodymium, iron and boron (NdFeB). This material enables the production of the strongest permanent magnets currently available on the market.

  • Performance classes: We offer various grades ranging from N35 to N52. Whilst N35 provides a solid baseline performance, the N52 class delivers the highest magnetic energy density for maximum holding force in the smallest of spaces.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

What does the ‘N’ designation mean for neodymium magnets?

The ‘N’ stands for neodymium; the number following it (e.g. 35, 45 or 52) indicates the maximum energy product. The higher the number, the stronger the magnet’s holding force for the same size.

What do I need to bear in mind when storing neodymium magnets?

Due to their extreme strength, magnets should not be stored near pacemakers, credit cards or electronic data storage devices. Furthermore, neodymium magnets are brittle; avoid allowing them to knock together uncontrollably to prevent chipping.

Can the self-adhesive magnets also be used in pairs?

Yes, on request we supply self-adhesive Disc Magnets in pairs (with the north and south poles alternating on the adhesive side), so that they adhere perfectly to each other as a magnetic fastening. This is particularly important for folding mechanisms on folders.
